Located in the exclusive Eastside district, this historic adobe house and two guest houses sit atop a quiet knoll just three blocks south of Canyon Road. Rarely does a property such as this appear on the vacation rental market. This stunning estate offers over 5,000 sq. ft. of living in the main house, guest house and studio. The gardens and grounds are stunning and professionally maintained.
This historic adobe was the first home built by legendary architect, John Gaw Meem in 1928. The property has been renovated and updated from the architects' original vision. There are coved ceilings, plastered walls and wood floors that give you the true sense of historic Santa Fe charm.
The main house offers three bedrooms and three baths with king and queen beds. The private guest house with full kitchen and laundry facilities offers another king bedroom and bath and private shaded garden. The studio was originally a chapel and there is a work space as well as queen bed and a child's twin, mini kitchen, and bath. The property can accomodate up to 11 guests.
There are over 500 sq. ft. of covered portals, outdoor fireplaces and private patios tucked behind adobe walls.
This home has the feel of the country but is in close proximity to downtown and Canyon Road. Sangre de Cristo views are to the east for wonderful morning sun.
With all the history, you can still be assured all the modern conveniences of internet, flat screen televisions and a state of the art kitchen.
This is the place for a true, memorable Santa Fe vacation with your family.
